A woman was processed for drink driving on Saturday morning after crashing her vehicle just north of Oamaru.
Sergeant Blair Wilkinson said a 52-year-old Blenheim woman lost control when driving on gravel at road works on State Highway 1 and crashed into a ditch.
The driver was processed for excess breath alcohol, recording 747mcg. She has been charged with driving while forbidden, driving with excess blood alcohol and further charges were being considered.
She was due to appear in Oamaru District Court on April 5.
