Oamaru Multisport Club Duathlon & Fun Run Nov 17th 2021
The Oamaru Multisport Club members could hardly believe their eyes with the number of entrants who attended the November Duathlon and Fun Run Series last Wednesday evening at the Oamaru Harbour.
“We were absolutely stoked to have so many people coming along and clearing having fun, which is what these events are all about.
With entrants of all abilities and ages, the events cater for everyone and competitors were certainly keen to get out in the fresh air and strut their stuff.
There were families riding and running together, as well as the star athletes, Jakob Cunningham and Taylah Aldridge, who were first male and female in the Duathlon.
These events are inspiring to watch and also to participate in and the Club wanted to thank everyone for making the first night of the series such an special evening, given the restrictions that Covid has imposed on sporting events”
